HOT TAKE - It’s not always about weight loss when it comes to fitness


In case it's gotten lost in the mix- PSA You are allowed to have fitness related goals that don't include weight loss. Not everyone has the same end goal of losing weight from working out. Is it common?... of course ... but its not everyone's and it doesn't HAVE to be yours.


Some people have these goals in mind instead


To simply move better

Work on their mobility or balance

Improve muscle and bone strength

Add muscle mass or even gain weight

Train for a race or sport

Improve their cardio health

Or maybe they just are working to maintain what they already have

ORRR maybe they just enjoy it and it brings them peace


Bottom line - Don't feel bad if your goal isn't weight loss. Just prioritize your health across the board and do your thang.
